It can be difficult to take action against institutional racism, especially when the tendency is to sweep things under the rug! This is the second of three sessions discussing anti-Black racism in the education system, and is dedicated to teaching parents and students how to take action against racism in schools.
The reality is that Black students are more than twice as likely to be suspended and to drop out of secondary school; this town hall series is a safe space to discuss and be empowered to act to combat anti-Black racism in schools.
