I am a African Nova Scotian born and raised in the small town of Amherst, Nova Scotia.
The majority of my professional career was spent working with The Correctional Service of Canada. During my tenure with CSC I held several key positions supporting the rehablitation of incarcerated individuals.
Throughout my career I empowered the people I was working with to develop a new appreciation for life and to strive to be the best version of themself.
As a proud mother to one daughter who is in her final year of university, I impart to make every day count and be the best you can be.
I currently sit as the Vice Chairman of the Cumberland African Nova Scotia Association. I am an active member of the Town of Amherst’s Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Committee and a contributing member of the Worley Report Research Committee.
