Urban Rez is currently delivering its R.E.A.L. School Program at the Donald Doucet Youth Facility in Sault Ste. Marie and the Cecil Facer Youth Facility in Sudbury, in collaboration with local partners. Our program is for justice-impacted Black youth who are transported to these facilities or apprehended while “gone O.T.”

R.E.A.L. School is more than an employment readiness and life skills program. It’s about Black mentors supporting Black youth and building together on:

• Positive Black Identity
• Career Planning
• Financial Literacy
• Relationships
• Conflict Resolution
• Decision-making
• Life Skills

We will also provide you with 1-on-1 counselling, case management and wraparound supports like housing, employment, and healthcare to help you with your transition to the outside world.
